Chanelle Beatrice, a founding member of Feminitt Caribbean, is a queer and radical feminist passionate about reducing inequalities and its impact specifically in the areas of Gender-Based Violence and SRHR. She currently works to advance the rights of LGBTQ+ people in the Caribbean. She uses media and communication as a pathway toward achieving gender justice in the region.

 

With a BA in journalism, the Trinbagonian media professional currently serves as a Ag. Co Executive Director and Outreach Lead at Feminitt Caribbean. Chanelle is working on restructuring and reshaping the Caribbean through an intersectional feminist lens by way of non- fiction storytelling.

 

She is the global Communications and Digital Engagement Officer at Access Now, an international Human Digital Rights Organization that works toward defending and extending digital rights.
